放下未来

睡觉，喝茶，走路，很是欣赏舒国治的闲游冥想。
“人要去追寻某种不刻意，以获得一份如天赐的好睡眠，隐隐说明了福分之难。”
“每天起床，急急忙忙一泡尿。接着如何？便是泡上一杯茶，喝将起来。”
“走路。走一阵，停下来，站定不动，抬头看。”
我们花掉大部分的时间去思考未来，却很少懂得放慢脚步享受现在。何须介怀别人怪你太过懒惰，一口清茶，一个午睡，一次懒散的行走，可能只需要暂时放下未来。无独有偶，Bailey Doesn’t Bark以蚂蚁，大树作为元素，简单而松散地排列在茶杯碗碟上。她的闲情陶志与“舒式”文字不谋而合。

新的生命，总会给人无尽的希望。是因为他近乎于无知和天真吗？所以，我期待着。在期待的过程中，有快乐、焦虑、争执…… 所有事情的发生之前，似乎都有如此定律。

于是，affa的新书也不例外吧。在这本书里，有我们期待的童真、创意的杂乱、生活不太完美的快乐……

这个世界上有多少种心形图案？这块旧式布料上的心心可算是比较老土的一种吧。不过，我喜欢。Pink Chalk Sutdio里还有各种花俏、过时、艳俗的布料，同时还提供多位设计师的手工pattern。

有个小常识，数年轮能数出树的年龄，真的很想知道，除了植物学家，到底有没有人会认真数过。Mytton Williams设计的一套2009年铅笔日历，用不同的顏色代表不同的月份，并把每一天都印在铅笔上，你会不会为了欣赏这支铅笔，耐心地每天削去一点点？

你是一只小妖怪，突然闯进我的生活，有时如阳光般带来欢乐，有时像小孩般四处捣乱，沉默的时候想着鬼主意，嬉戏的时候放肆大笑，还跳进我的梦里胡闹一番。搞不懂什么缘故，或许是再简单不过的一份感觉和默契，让you and me走在一起，如peasoup的豌豆pod card一样亲昵。

感觉一般。可能是不喜欢这样的装订。国外采访的部分最有看头。想“创生意”的朋友也许可获得一些灵感。

跟挪威艺术家Katrine Kalleklev一样，我偶尔也会梦见儿童时期的情景；不过Katrine的记忆是他的创作灵感，而我的却只是无意识的梦而已。

等待本身，就带着惊喜。本来以为syl把我们约定的采访给忘了，但突如其来，她说，她还记得。
syl来自德国，现在生活在瑞士，她形容自己是一位贪吃的平面设计师，她总是感到肌饿，要一边设计一边吃。除了设计，她不是在做吃的，就是在吃。最欣赏的是她的sketchbooks。她的手稿调皮活泼，还即兴地贴着卡通和有趣的招贴，让我乐此不疲地翻了整个下午。

1.Tell me a bit about yourself.
Hello, my name is syl. I was born & raised in Bavaria (Germany). I studied in Germany & USA. Now I’m a graphic designer, illustrator & character designer, living and working in Switzerland.
I collect wallpapers and I’m always hungry. Actually, I have to get something to eat before I continue this interview. one moment please.

2.What keeps you inspired?
Daily life. traveling. eating.

3.I love your sketchbooks, would you describe your working procedure?
I am drawing in order to think, not the other way around as many people do.
I usually draw into one of my sketchbooks, then I scan the drawing and refine it on the computer if needed. either I color the drawing by hand or on the computer. sometimes i have to convert my drawings from pixels to vectors, in order to be able to make, e.g. flex prints for t-shirts.

4.Tell me about your creative work recently.
I was asked to design a small t-shirt collection for a Swiss fashion chain, which was something I’d always wanted to do. I was quite free to chose the motifs & colors, so it was really fun.

5.Describe your own character.
hmmm… difficult question! I’d said I’m quite a quiet person. although…I get angry sometimes, e.g. at my pencil when I don’t manage to draw something the way I want.

6.Which one of characters is your favourite in your cartoons?
Oh, don’t ask me that! if I pick one of my characters as a favourite now, the others will hate me for ever…(but I like kamikatze a lot, she’s so fun & crazy)

7.What would you doing if you weren’t designing?
Cooking (& eating!)

8.What can’t you living without? Why?
Chocolate! I’m seriously addicted.

9.What you hate most?
Besides wet towels I really hate hunger, injustice and violence.

10.Dream to be?
A mom!
