Jon说自己是一个愤世疾俗的doodler（乱画者），但偶尔也爆发出爱心和懒惰。“我要赶快回答完你的问题，因为世界杯半决赛意大利VS德国快要开始了……我昨天煮了咖喱素菜，正好边吃边看，哈哈。” Jon的doodle作品大大咧咧，她本人也是如此爽朗快乐，虽然她自称是“一条悲伤的小虫……”

Jon没有养小猫小狗这样的宠物，因为在她的公寓里已经有许多旧画偶公仔经常神出鬼没。“我只能凭直觉设计。因为我没有接受过正式的设计课程，读书时我学习的是Fine Art，那时他们很少教我们如何画，而是有很大量的自由时间让我们自己画。”Jon觉得那些有惊人的天才和想法和创作人给了她很大的影响，例如Tex Avery, Basquiat, Kurt Schwitters, Shigeru Miyamoto……

“在我的幻想、乱涂乱画和设计创作中，可以表达我的心灵或精神，这已经足够，至于表现出来的精神是怎样的，这并不重要，只要是忠于自己，就可以了。”

Jon的梦想：做一个少点焦虑多点放松的懒鬼。

Jon的一天：英国现在是夏天，最近很热，我要到每天晚上开始凉快一点的时候才能真正开始工作。我是那么地厌恶热，热让所有事都变得很难，甚至是在乱涂乱画！

Jon的新计划：我最近的工作很顺利，在商业项目之余我还有时间画一些新的作品，而且我正在开始一些在服装上创作的概念，对于我来说，这是既新鲜又兴奋的事。

What influence you most?
Probably other artists I wish I could be, people like Tex Avery, Basquiat, Kurt Schwitters, Shigeru Miyamoto…Creative people with amazing talents and ideas.

Do you follow your instinct to design?
Yes, I have no formal design training. I studied Fine Art, where they give no teaching but plenty offree time to experiment.

What is the soul you wanted to present through your drawing/illustration/design?
Just presenting soul is enough for me - it doesn’t matter what it is as long as there is an honesty within it.

Dream to be?
Less of a worrier and more of a slacker.

Today, after answering these pretty questions,what should you do next?
I shall watch the World Cup Semi-Final match between Germany and Italy whilst eating a vegetarian curry I cooked yesterday.

Do you have any pets,what’s her/his name?
No pets, but lots of old doodles littler and haunt me in my flat.

Describe your own character
A cynical misanthropic doodler with occasional outbursts of warmth and laziness.

Your heroes in real life?
I don’t think I have a hero although I admire a lot of people.

Tell us about your life and your work recently,just let us know your soul’s present condition.
It’s the summer in the UK at the moment. It has been very hot recently. Often I will wait untilit has cooled down in the evening to start working. I don’t like the heat, it makes everything difficult, even doodling! My work seems to be going quite well, and when I can find the time away from commercial projects I have been working on some new canvases and drawings. I have also just started working on some clothing ideas, which, because it is a new thing for me, it is pretty exciting.

（访谈后记：我觉得Jon最近的心情一定是很好，那天我发了几封interview letter给英国和法国的设计师和插画家，Jon竟然是最快回复的人。虽然我对他的印象是如此模糊，但从英国一些媒体对他的采访中，其中有一段话让我“提心吊胆”，当时的问题是这样的：Jon，你空闲的时候将做些什么呢？Jon回答：我想应该是回复邮件吧，在我的邮箱里有一些1997年的邮件还没打开过呢……

于是，当我按下发送给Jon的按钮时，我想也许我将会在2015年的某一天收到Jon的回信吧。

但我是幸运的，Jon在第2天的迅速回应，让我有受宠的感觉。）
